The CSIRO is encouraging international students to apply for Ph.D. Top-Up Scholarships, which will provide financial assistance to international students pursuing research degrees in Australia. Ph.D. Refresher Program at CSIRO Postgraduate students who have received (or anticipate to get) first or upper second class honors or equivalent in relevant research areas are eligible for the studentships.

Eligibility of CSIRO Ph.D. Top-Up Overseas Scholarships In Space and Astronomy Australia

  • All nationalities are eligible to participate.
  • Courses or subjects that are eligible: Ph.D. in Near-field adaptive beamforming in widely-spaced arbitrary arrays will be awarded the scholarship.
  • Criteria for Eligibility: Applicants must meet all of the following/given requirements to be considered:
  • Have a proper visa to study in Australia admittance to an Australian university as a Ph.D. student (if international)
  • Hold a primary scholarship and be available to start with CSIRO no later than 30 June 2022. be no more than one year (FTE) into a Ph.D. when they start at CSIRO.
  • A supervisor from the university who is willing and able to supervise you.

  • In the ‘Resume/CV’ field, including the reasons why the research project(s) you’ve chosen are of interest to you and how your skills/knowledge meet the project requirements; the names and contact information for two academic referees; and an outline of your longer-term career goals and how this program will help you achieve them.
  • Upload your academic results in the ‘Cover Letter’ area; choose your university from the Educational Institute list in the ‘Education’ section;

Benefits

For students to complete their studies in Australia, CSIRO is providing a $10,000 annual award, as well as a $5,000 learning and development allowance during the course of the studentship.
