Eligibility of Imperial College London President’s Ph.D. Scholarships UK
- Candidates must hold or expect to hold a first-class UK degree or its equivalent.
- Candidates with a solo Master’s degree must have received a distinction or be able to demonstrate exceptional performance that will result in a distinction if this has not yet been achieved. They must also have a first-class or equivalent UK undergraduate degree (integrated Masters that form part of an undergraduate degree, e.g. MEng, MSci, M.Math, are assessed by Admissions as an undergraduate qualification when determining eligibility).
- Candidates who hold several Master’s degrees must have earned a distinction in the one that is most relevant to their Ph.D. research.
- Talented applicants from Imperial College London, the United Kingdom, and around the world are encouraged to apply. Nationality is not a factor, though some departments may be unable to support overseas applicants.
- Candidates with degrees from foreign universities should check with the relevant Admissions office to see if their scores/grades meet the scholarship entry requirements.
- Candidates must have contacted a supervisor in an academic department at Imperial College London who has agreed to supervise their research project before applying.
- Please keep in mind that supervisors can only oversee one scholar at a time.
How To Apply for Imperial College London President’s Ph.D. Scholarships UK
