Eligibility of International Project Scholarships in Network Analysis of Musical Improvisation in Australia
- All nationalities are eligible to participate.
- Courses or subjects that are eligible: Doctorate in Musical Improvisation Network Analysis
- Criteria for Eligibility: Applicants must meet all of the following/given requirements to be considered:
- Possess qualifications and experience that are comparable to one of the following: I an Australian First Class Bachelor (Honours) degree; (ii) a coursework Master’s degree with at least 25% research component; (iii) a Research Masters degree; or (iv) equivalent overseas qualifications.
- Candidates must have demonstrated research experience in one of the project’s domains, as well as an interest in improvised music.
- Have a background in computational sociology, particularly with some quantitative network modeling experience. They could also be schooled in music and improvisation and possess great computing skills. As a result, they’ll need a foundation in a combination of computer science, music composition, and musicology, as well as sociology.
- Be eager and strongly driven to continue your education at a higher level.
