Eligibility

• The candidate must be a foreign student who is not a Korean citizen.
• A bachelor’s degree is required for admission to a master’s degree program, or the candidate must anticipate having a bachelor’s degree at the time of enrolment.
• The applicant for a Ph.D. degree must have or intend to have a master’s degree at the time of enrolment in KAIST.
• A bachelor’s degree must be equal to a four-year bachelor’s degree in Korea.
• If the applicant is of Korean origin, regardless of where he or she was born, he or she must have obtained all of his or her schoolings outside of Korea, or neither of the applicant’s parents must be Korean citizens. If the candidate meets even one of these two criteria, he or she will be considered.

How To Apply for KAIST University Scholarship in South Korea 2022

• Admissions applications will be filed online.
• The candidate must apply for admission on a regular basis, and if the applicant satisfies the scholarship requirements, the application will be evaluated for KAIST Scholarships 2022 automatically.
• To apply for admission, the candidate must pay the application fee.
• In addition, a paper copy of the online application must be delivered to the KAIST office address.

Benefits of KAIST University Scholarship in South Korea 2022

• The whole tuition cost will be paid, which means MS students will be exempt for four semesters and Ph.D. students would be exempt for eight semesters.
• MS students will get a monthly stipend of 350,000 KRW.
• Ph.D. students will get a monthly stipend of 400,00 KRW.
• The cost of health insurance will be covered.
• Scholarship recipients will receive additional stipends or supplemental funding for research projects.
