Description
The Ph.D. international awards are given by the University of Copenhagen to honor and acknowledge excellent academic performance and personal characteristics among students.
This application is open to Danish citizens as well as citizens of other countries applying from abroad. Students interested in pursuing a Ph.D. program at the University of Copenhagen’s Faculty of Social Sciences will be considered for this application, which will pay study fees. In the QS Global World Rankings 2022, the University of Copenhagen is a public research university. Its aim is to do world-class research, provide research-based education, and provide internationally renowned teaching and research.

Eligibility of Ph.D. International Awards At University of Copenhagen
- Applicants of all nationalities are welcome to apply.
- It is possible to pursue a Ph.D. degree at the University of Copenhagen’s Copenhagen Graduate School of Social Sciences.
- The applicants must enroll in the Faculty of Social Sciences as Ph.D. students.
How To Apply for Ph.D. International Awards At University of Copenhagen

- The following documents must be presented to the university by the students:
Cover Letter
Description of the Ph.D. project.
CV.
Transcripts of records and diploma
Publications list. - Applicants must have completed a two-year MSc program or achieved 120 ECTS credits at a comparable academic level.
- The candidates are required to submit their English language competency exam results.
Benefits
According to an agreement between the Ministry of Finance and the Danish Confederation of Professional Associations, selected Ph.D. applicants would be given a wage.
