UWA Sport, in collaboration with the University of Western Australia’s School of Human Sciences, is pleased to announce the Doctor of Philosophy Scholarships for high-achieving athletes for the academic year 2022-2023.

These research scholarships were established to support UWA’s applied sports science research and to help the university continue to strive for excellence in the areas of participation, performance, and inclusiveness in sport.

The University of Western Australia was founded by an act of the Western Australian Parliament in 1911, and it began teaching students two years later. It is Australia’s sixth-oldest institution, and until the creation of Murdoch University in 1973, it was Western Australia’s only university.

• Eligible Countries: Applicants of any nationality are welcome to apply.
• Courses or subjects that are eligible: Philosophical Doctorate
• Criteria for Eligibility: Applicants must meet all of the following/given requirements to be considered:
• Applicants must enroll in the university’s degree program.
• Applicants must have a minimum GPA of 2.5.
