Eligibility of School of Law Ph.D. Overseas Scholarship UK
- All nationalities are eligible to apply
- Eligible Course or Subjects: Ph.D. degree program in the following subfields of law and criminology:
- Law and technology
- Public international law
- Family law
- Children and the law
- Public law
- IP law
- Wellbeing and the legal system
- Policing
- Probation and non-custodial punishment
- Gender and criminal justice
- Criminology of war
- Colonial and post-colonial law and justice
- To be eligible, the applicants must meet all the given criteria:
- Be an international student for fee purposes
- Applicants must have a BS degree from a recognized university.
How To Apply for School of Law Ph.D. Overseas Scholarship UK
- Applicants must enroll in the university’s Ph.D. degree courses in order to be considered for this opportunity. Following that, you must finish the online application system.
- Fill out the application and send it in: You should log into your postgraduate application and complete the supplementary scholarship part once you’ve finished step 1 or if you’ve already been offered a place to study with us.
- Proof of previous degrees, official English translations, academic references, a supporting statement, and a CV are all required.
- Applicants must possess a previous degree certificate with outstanding results.
- Requires a good command of the English language. You may be asked to take an international language test as part of our English language requirements.
Benefits
This scholarship will fund the following expenses:
Fees: Full payment of tuition fees at the Home rate during the term of study. The residual charge for international students must be paid by the person.
Maintenance/stipend: £9000 per year for full-time students, paid in quarterly installments to the person for three and a half years following the start of the degree.
Grant for Research Training: Up to £500 each year for three years, with any unspent money rolling forward each year. The use of this money is subject to restrictions, and there must be a clear link to supporting the research endeavor. The School will keep any money that is leftover at the end of the project.
