Special Health Research Scholarship in New Zealand at the University of Otago is going to be offered. The University of Otago Special Health Research Scholarship helps excellent doctorate students who want to pursue a career in health research. Graduates from any discipline who plan to pursue Ph.D. research training in a field related to human health are eligible to apply. Both domestic and international students are eligible for the scholarship. Professional doctorate candidates, as well as Ph.D. candidates, are encouraged to apply.

If you are an international student currently studying outside of New Zealand, please be aware that the University will not make judgments on Doctoral scholarship awards until there is greater certainty about your ability to enter New Zealand. We’re keeping an eye on the situation, and in the meantime, you can still apply for a Doctoral Scholarship — your application will be examined and put on hold until we can make a decision.
