If you are experiencing financial difficulties, the TAISEI Scholarships for International Students in Japan are for you. Japan Study Support and Japan Educational Exchanges and Services are in charge of organizing the program.

This funding program is provided by Japan Educational Exchanges and Services and is only available to students pursuing a degree program in Vietnam, Indonesia, Thailand, the Philippines, Malaysia, or Myanmar. The monthly award is worth 150,000 YEN.

JAPAN STUDY SUPPORT is a website for International Students that is run in collaboration by the Asian Students Cultural Association and Benesse Corporation.

Eligibility of TAISEI Scholarships for International Students in Japan

• Students from Vietnam, Indonesia, Thailand, the Philippines, Malaysia, and Myanmar are all able to apply.
• Eligible Courses or Subjects: Applicants must be enrolled in an undergraduate or master’s degree program in Architecture or Civil Engineering at any Japanese institute.
• Criteria for Eligibility: To be qualified, applicants must meet all of the following/given criteria:
• Applicants must be residents of the United States and have a status as a college student.

How To Apply for TAISEI Scholarships for International Students in Japan

• How to Apply: Students must complete the admission application for the university to which they wish to apply. Application information can be discovered by
• logging in to the organization’s portal or by contacting the school to which they have applied.
• Supporting Documents: Students must supply academic transcripts as well as any other supporting documents necessary by their university.
• Admission Standards: Students must meet the admission requirements of the university they desire to attend.
• Language Requirement: Students must submit English or Japanese language competence exam results.

Benefits

The chosen students will get 150,000 YEN per month for up to four years of UG or Master’s studies in Japan.
