Teagasc Ph.D. Walsh Overseas Scholarships At University College Dublin Ireland.The Teagasc Ph.D. Walsh Scholarships have been created by the University College Dublin in partnership with Teagasc Food Research Centre for overseas students who intend to pursue their research study in Ireland for the academic year 2021-2022. Along with overseas students, Irish students are also allowed to apply. This application is open to students who are pursuing a PhD degree with a concentration on Bacillus spore control in dairy processing. The winners will get a yearly stipend. • Applicants are eligible to pursue a Ph.D. at UCD in Bacillus spore control during dairy processing.
• Applicants must meet all of the following/given criteria to be considered eligible:
• Applicants must be self-motivated and capable of working as part of a larger research team.

• Applicants must submit their applications to UCD through the university’s official website. Interested applicants must send the appropriate documentation to [email protected] to be considered for the Ph.D. scholarship.
• The following documents must be presented to the university by the students:
• Proposal for research
• Statement of purpose.
• Transcripts.
• References.
• Requirements for Admission: Applicants must hold a bachelor’s degree with honors in Microbiology, Food Technology, Food Science, or a related field.
• Requires a good command of the English language. The pupils are required to submit their English language competency test results.

Benefits

The PhD candidates who are chosen will receive a stipend of €24,000 each year for up to four years of study at UCD.
